A lot of cool things are happening and have happened!
I just got back from Europe. Jet lag was very hard this time. Anyway, still nerding out on my last few days in France.
I made the paper in Dijon, France! It makes me happy my parents are proud.
I went to Poligny, Franche-Comte, France! Home of the Vin Jaune (yellow Vine).
Some of these vines go back centuries! Some of the Savagvin has aging ability 40-50+years! The more Savagnin, the higher the cellar age, and you know what that means........ ;)
Here are a view of my favorites! Must go to villages to get.....
Giant Barrels! Wine aged in 11th century church. Mighty impressive! J'adore!
The lat few days in Dijon were magical, and very cold for this California girl. I have to go back and there will be snow in February, so I must be prepared! Here are some wonderful holiday pics from the Pere Noel Marche, in Place de Republic, which is right by my flat.
Jazz always souds good to me. Jazz sounds especially good in the winter.......
In love with the doors in Europe. Dijon, France has some of the most amazing doorways!
We the girls were about to leave and then, "Wait, Wait, girls! Before you leave, we would like to sing you a song!"
~~~~Smart fellas!
My favorite after lunch/dinner delight..... This happens to be wine wine, rum, sugar, with vanilla stick! I love this stuff. Cafe L'Industrie, Dijon, France.
Le Marche, (Framers Market) Dijon, France.
La Buvette Marche, Wine Bar in the Market( La Marche). This is my favorite spot. Working in the wine biz, it's nice to take your hat off, eat some good plump oysters, and drink good wine. No points, No crap. Just goodness, and peace of mind.
Thanksgiving in Dijon!
This was my facebook status: Happy Thanksgiving!!!! So very excited to be able to share this holiday with my French pal and her lovely family around the corner. Her boys are very excited to help cook and prepare their 1st American holiday. I am grateful to celebrate aussi, being sa far from home! Thank you.
Châteauneuf du Pape. Rhône. Land of the blends. Thank you. Southern France.
Listening to my Jazz and my jams, throughout this medieval wonderland. :)
Vaison La Romaine.....some of my best friends live here and own a bed and breakfast. A very special place in the South of France.
This shizzz is old!!!!!! Older than America. Total Goth! Medieval, awesomeness!
Best organic lunch at Restaurant O'Natur'elles 36 Place Montfort/ 84110 Vaison-la-Romaine., 84110 France. J'adore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
